EA has announced that the open beta for Battlefield 6 will include two options for players: Playing with open-ended weapons or closed, pellet-based weapons, providing an experience closer to the classic Battlefield style.
Despite previous criticisms of the decision to remove the pellet-based weapon system in Battlefield 2042, the system will continue in the new installment, but with playlists that allow players to choose the experience that suits them best.
Battlefield 6 is expected to be fully revealed on July 31 during a special COD Next-style event.
