Although rumors suggest that Space Marine 3 is in development, Saber Interactive has confirmed that support for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is far from over, revealing the roadmap for the second year, which runs through the second quarter of 2026.
The biggest update to date (Update 10) will launch on September 4, and includes a new PvE mission, PvP Helbrute Onslaught, a new PvP Arena, PvE Stratagems, 3 new weapons, a Chaos Spawn enemy, and a Chaos Armor Pack
Update 11 in the fourth quarter of 2025: New PvE mission, new pickup items within missions and field rewards with additional stratagems.
Update 12 in Q1 2026: New mission, addition of the Techmarine class with Omnissian Axe weapon, Battle Barge expansion, and new strategies.
Update 13 in Q1 2026: A new mission, an update to the progression system, and a new Terminus-type enemy.
Q2 2026: The last of the free updates, including two additional PvP arenas, PvP and Generalissimo strategies, and a new siege map.
For Season Pass owners, there are four Champion Packs, four Cosmetic Packs, and a Chapter Pack, with the first two launching in conjunction with the September 4 update.
With this, Saber Interactive emphasizes its long-term commitment to supporting the game and expanding its content, keeping the player community active even as it works on the future of the series.
