Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have announced a huge upcoming update for Elden Ring Nightreign, adding a new option titled Deep of Night, a setting specifically designed for veteran challenge fans who have repeatedly finished previous nights.
According to official statements, Deep of Night will make enemies stronger than usual and change the dynamics of encounters to become more brutal. The update describes the mode as “a high-difficulty challenge for seasoned players who have gone through the Nights many times.”
The mode will offer more powerful enemies, new weapons and Relics exclusive to this mode, and the addition of Endless Mode that allows you to keep playing until you die, making the experience an absolute test of abilities.
The update arrives on September 11, 2025, giving players some time to prepare for this grim challenge.
FromSoftware seems to be continuing its tradition of pushing players to their limits, as Deep of Night may be the perfect choice for those who aren’t satisfied with the base difficulty level.
