IO Interactive has announced that James Bond fans will get a comprehensive look at its upcoming 007 First Light game via a State of Play event on Wednesday, September 3.
The preview, confirmed by IO Interactive’s Director of Global Communications Yann Roskell, will feature more than 30 minutes of gameplay, including a demonstration of the player’s first mission as a rookie MI6 agent.
According to Roskell, the first mission will combine several classic Bond gameplay elements such as high-speed car chases, breathtaking stealth experiences and live fire engagements.
The event will air at 9 p.m. KSA time via PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
The official game description confirms that 007 First Light is an action-packed espionage adventure, offering an original story about James Bond’s beginnings as a young, intelligent and sometimes reckless agent in the MI6 training program.
The game is set to be released globally in 2026 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2. The first trailer for the game came last June during the State of Play event.
