More than 8 years after its release, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 continues to receive continuous support from its developers, and today details of the new expansion Future Saga Chapter 3 have been revealed, which will be officially released on October 30, 2025.
The upcoming expansion will introduce powerful and beloved characters, most notably:
- Broly from Dragon Ball Super
- Golden Frieza as Ultra Supervillain
According to the new trailer, Frieza teams up with Fu to take control of time itself, using the power of time crystals to gain a new form inspired by Black Frieza in the Dragon Ball Super manga.
The upcoming expansion includes a large amount of additional content for fans of the game, including:
- A new main mission
- 3 side missions
- 6 new fighting moves
- 5 costumes and accessories
- 3 Super Souls
- 23 new art sketches
- New Conton City Ruins arena
- A bonus scenario titled Cheelai & Broly All Out! Conton City Patrol
At the end of the trailer, the team hinted that the fourth chapter of Future Saga will be the last, signaling a huge conclusion to the long-running add-on series.
This update follows the launch of the Daima Pack earlier in the year which introduced Goku Super Saiyan 4. Meanwhile, the developers of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero have confirmed that new additional content is in development while an all-new Dragon Ball game will be announced in January 2026.
Do you think Xenoverse 2 still offers content worth playing after all these years?
