ARC Raiders players get fired up by an industrial facility and set records

Last week, ARC Raiders saw the release of the North Line update, which introduced one of the most important additions to the title since its launch, namely the new Stella Montis map, and although the update included various improvements, weapons and additional content, this map in particular captured the attention of players in a remarkable way and achieved huge numbers in a short period of time.

Stella Montis stands out from the rest of the game’s maps, which often rely on open spaces and dilapidated environments that reflect the destroyed Rust Belt world, on the contrary, this map comes as a closed industrial facility dug into the mountains with a strict scientific design and narrow multi-level corridors, this architectural style created a completely different combat experience, especially for fans of close encounters and quick clashes in the PvP mode.

Embark revealed that Stella Montis has been visited more than 25 million times since its release, a figure that reflects the overwhelming popularity of the map in a short period of time and suggests that the claustrophobic nature of the map with its opportunities for ambush and surprise encounters has made it the top destination for those looking for high-intensity PvP matches.

Players took down 26,923 of the Matriarch’s enemies, while the new Shredder has taken down more than 2.2 million players, proving that despite its small size, it is one of the most deadly threats in the update.

One of the most notable additions to the update is the new Deadline mine, which has a high explosive power. Interestingly, statistics revealed that 37,218 players caused themselves to fall using it, while an equally bizarre case was recorded where 117 players were knocked down by rocks, and even the developer himself admitted that he did not fully understand how this happened.

The presence of new missions and unique loot within Stella Montis made the map more than just a PvP arena, it was a complete path to progress and discover content never before offered in ARC Raiders, thus the North Line update was able to elevate the player experience and breathe new life into the game.
