Battlefield 6’s open beta is seeing a huge turnout of players around the world, in preparation for the full release on October 10. Despite a few changes that have sparked limited controversy among fans, enthusiasm for the game is still at an all-time high.
One of the most notable trends that emerged during the beta was the insistence of some players to fully embody the role of a medic, going through entire matches without inflicting any damage on enemies, only rescuing their teammates and bringing them back to the battlefield. This spirit of solidarity reminded some of real-life stories like the movie Hacksaw Ridge, where players sacrifice kill points to save dozens of virtual soldiers.
During a match on the Liberation Peak map, one player achieved a remarkable feat, refusing to shoot an enemy, dying only 4 times throughout the match, while reviving 564 players, giving him more than 56,500 experience points. His teammate came in second with 395 revivals, but had to sacrifice seven enemies during the match.

The players largely stuck to the classic missions for each tier:
– Support: Providing ammunition and revives.
– Engineers: Destroy tanks and vehicles.
– Attack: Leading the fight on the front lines.
– Reconnaissance: Providing long-range coverage from the heights.
However, it was the support players who stood out the most thanks to their ability to keep the team alive, making them the backbone of the battlefield.
