Nearly two months after the release of Battlefield 6, and despite the great offers the title received during the sale season, the development team is still working continuously to address the most prominent technical issues that players complained about, and one of the most pressing files is the in-game sound file, which caused a lot of controversy due to poor footsteps and the disappearance of some effects in melee situations.
In a comment spotted by GamesRadar+, DICE lead designer Florian Le Bihan confirmed that Battlefield 6’s sound system is undergoing a full review to fix the issues, noting that the team is also working on fixing a bug that caused some sounds to disappear completely during gameplay.
Lopihan explained that the team is still extensively testing the tweaks to ensure that the improvements address the root of the issue, adding that full details will be revealed soon with the next update.
Lobihan also addressed the mouse and keyboard issues that players noticed after the last update, admitting that the mouse sensitivity adjustment was compromised in the previous update but assuring that the issue will be resolved in the new update, and announcing that buttons related to clickers will be removed from the keyboard after the release of the update.
These fixes come at a time when the title is experiencing strong competition with Black Ops 7, both in terms of player numbers and the game’s presence on digital platforms, and despite the criticism, it seems that the development team continues to listen to audience feedback and try to improve the gaming experience.
