The Witcher 4 continues to receive the lion’s share of development resources, with the number of developers increasing from 422 to 444, more than half of the total team. This reflects the game’s importance as the largest project in the studio’s history to date.
The new Cyberpunk installment has also seen a significant expansion, with the number of developers working on it rising from 96 to 116, signaling an acceleration of development for the highly anticipated title following the success of the Phantom Liberty expansion.
Other projects are progressing steadily:
- Project Sirius rose from 48 to 51.
- Project Hadar rose from 19 to 22.
- Other projects expanded from 14 to 17.
- The shared services team (QA, data, localization, etc.) grew from 131 to 149 employees to support all teams
This balanced growth illustrates CD Projekt Red’s strategy of working on several large projects simultaneously, while investing in infrastructure to secure long-term quality and stability.
