A full 10 years after its release in 2015, Bethesda announced Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition at the Fallout Day Showcase, bringing one of the series’ most popular games back to the forefront.
The announcement comes with a new trailer that has been described as better than any trailer released prior to the game’s original launch.
The 10th Anniversary Edition will include all of the post-launch add-ons, namely:
- Automatron
- Wasteland Workshop
- Far Harbor
- Contraptions Workshop
- Vault-Tec Workshop
- Nuka-World
In addition, more than 150 Creation additions and curated content from the community of players and developers will be added to enhance the experience and expand the game world.
We want players to feel that this version is not just a re-release but a celebration of ten years of Fallout 4 – Bethesda’s official statement
Bethesda confirmed that the edition will include new, never-before-released items that can be obtained via a new in-game menu and will also be made available to all players through a free update without the need to purchase the special edition.
One of the biggest surprises was the confirmation of Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition on Switch 2, becoming the first Fallout game to reach Nintendo hardware in history.
The edition will officially launch on November 10, 2025, the same date the original game was released a full decade ago.
Will Bethesda bring back the glory of the Commonwealth with Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition? And are you excited to experience it on the Switch 2 for the first time?
