As we get closer to the release date of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, more details about the changes that will distinguish it from its predecessor are starting to emerge. The latest of these details came via Charlie Intel, where we got our first direct look at the new interface, along with the Weapon Build Code feature that appears for the first time in the series.
The new interface is based on a horizontal organization, allowing for seamless navigation between players’ equipment. Weapons and equipment are grouped in a more streamlined design to give a modern feel when setting up.
While the Gunsmith interface looks almost identical to what we saw in Black Ops 6, the biggest focus this time around is on the most important addition: Weapon Build Code.
What is Weapon Build Code?
- Each loadout generates a unique code of 15 to 16 characters.
- The code can be easily shared or copied.
- Once entered, the player gets the same setup immediately without having to manually reset it.
This feature will make it easier to share the best gear among players and the community and save a lot of time in pre-match preparations.
These changes may seem small, but they represent a step towards a more flexible and organized experience, especially with the large amount of weapons and customizations that Black Ops 7 carries with it at launch.
