The Battlefield series is gearing up for a big comeback this month as EA officially announced that Battlefield 6 will be available for free for a whole week in a move aimed at attracting more players before the Black Friday sale, and this initiative is one of the longest free periods that a huge shooter game of this type has ever received.
According to EA’s statement, players will be able to experience extensive content from Battlefield 6 at no cost, including huge maps and famous modes in the series, and in the official statement it stated:
From November 25 through December 2, everyone can experience all-out war for free. Fight on the streets of Cairo, enter the battlefields of Eastwood and Blackwell Fields, engage in massive confrontations in Conquest and Breakthrough, and break into the new Sabotage mode.
Players will have access to some of the most popular game modes including:
- Conquest: The large-scale confrontations that characterize the series
- Breakthrough: Frontline battles
- Sabotage: The all-new mode that arrived with the latest update
- Team Deathmatch: High-paced, head-to-head combat
The free period also allows for a large enough portion of the experience to be tested to fully evaluate the game before making a purchase decision.
EA explains that the progress recorded during the free period will transfer to the full version if the game is purchased later, and with a full week of play, players will have ample opportunity to unlock weapons and equipment and make significant progress before purchasing, especially with the expectations of launching significant discounts during the Black Friday period.
