THQ Nordic has officially announced that its upcoming co-op horror game Reanimal has gone gold, meaning development is complete and ready for release a full two months ahead of schedule in a move that bolsters confidence that there will be no delays.
The announcement came via a media release and social media post, where the company said:
Reanimal, the cooperative horror game developed by Tarsier Studio, makers of Little Nightmares 1 and 2, is officially ready. We confirm that the game is fully developed and will be released on schedule.
Reanimal is set to release on Friday, February 13, 2026 on PC and current-genconsoles, and the fact that the game has reached the gold stage means there is very little chance of it being delayed unless an unforeseen circumstance occurs.
Reanimal will be available in three versions:
The Standard Edition (priced at $40) includes:
- the base game
Deluxe Edition ($60) includes:
- base game
- A season pass that includes 3 DLC chapters
- Exclusive masks (Foxhead and Muttonhead)
Collector’s Edition ($120) includes:
- All Deluxe Edition content
- Pre-order content
- PVC figurine of the Pig character
- Metal keychain
- paper map
- Deluxe 80-page art book
- 3 posters
- A high-quality deluxe collector’s box
For those still on the fence, THQ Nordic has confirmed that a beta version of Reanimal is currently available to try, giving players a chance to test the game’s atmosphere and style before purchasing.
With the development team responsible for the Little Nightmares series and the game entering the Gold phase early, Reanimal looks to be one of the most anticipated horror games of 2026.
