Rockstar Games has released a new update for GTA 5 on PC, including DLSS 4 support, as well as new cards and content in GTA Online, with improvements for both Story and Online players.
At the end of the update post on Rockstar’s website, the company confirmed that Nvidia’s latest definition brings DLSS 4 support with multi-frame frame generation, as well as frame generation for both GTA 5 Enhanced and GTA Online. According to Nvidia, this technology can increase the frame rate on GeForce RTX 50 Series cards at 4K resolution and maximum settings by 3.9x on average, with notable improvements also for RTX 40 Series users.
These features are only available for the Enhanced version released by Rockstar earlier this year, with owners of older versions of GTA 5 and GTA Online being able to upgrade for free.
GTA Online players get a series of new Drift Week-inspired additions, including:
– Drift Tuning upgrades for four cars: Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire, Annis Hardy, Vapid Dominator FX, and Dinka Chavos V6
– A free limited-time free car: Declasse Drift Walton L35
Rockstar also announced new events coming in late summer and through the fall, including a new Survival mode, Halloween activities, and a GTA$ giveaway.
This update comes at a time when players are waiting for any new information about GTA 6, while Rockstar continues to deliver seasonal content to keep the GTA Online community active.
