GFA Games has revealed that the ambitious MMO PIONER will be released in Early Access on December 16, 2025. The announcement comes after a successful beta period that attracted widespread interest as the game jumped to over 500k on Steam’s wishlist in just a few weeks.
PIONER has been described as an elaborate blend of Fallout, STALKER and Escape from Tarkov elements and will offer:
- A vast open world
- Deep character and equipment customization
- An immersive atmosphere that encourages exploration and development
- PvE and story missions
- PvP encounters based on player choices
Along with the announcement, GFA Games revealed the Deluxe Edition, which includes:
- Exclusive Renegade costume and equipment
- Weapon color with VFX effects for all offensive weapons
- A special in-game title for founders
- 500 Premium Coins
- Creepy Charm
- Gadget: “Katana” Watch inspired by the designs of 1980s Japan
According to the game’s official description, PIONER:
- A huge island with an area of over 50 square kilometers
- A world full of Soviet-era remnants in an alternate reality
- Story missions and faction missions that affect alliances and rewards
- Secret corridors and dangerous areas
- A social MMO experience that blends PvE and PvP
The game also features an extensive story campaign with an excellent tutorial section, designed to ease players into its complex world.
