Activision has officially announced that Black Ops 7 Season 1 will launch on December 4, 2025 and with it a slew of new content including Zombies, Warzone updates, new weapons, and most importantly 8 multiplayer maps between new maps, improved versions, and a celebratory version of one of the most popular maps.
Here’s a detailed look at all the maps coming in Season 1, based on the official description from Activision.
1. Utopia (New)
A former state-of-the-art research center that is now home to Project Synapse. A combination of high-rise buildings, futuristic interiors, and a three-track layout that allows for parkour moves, Wall Jumps, and innovative melee options.
The feel of the map is futuristic, kinetic and multi-lane, suitable for varied engagements and fast-paced player movement

2. Fate (New)
A journey through David Mason’s distorted memory, a twisted version of the Menendez compound in Nicaragua where time is shattered, pieces of reality are suspended.
A surreal, psychologically themed map suitable for mid-range combat

3. Odysseus (New)
A hallucination aboard an aircraft carrier familiar from David’s past: Planes frozen in mid-explosion, red fog, and a tight combat environment.

4. Standoff (Remaster – Black Ops 2)
The beloved classic returns with higher graphical quality than ever before.

Mid-season maps
5. Sleighjacked (Festive version of Hijacked)
The Christmas version of Hijacked… Lights, decorations and gifts. A festive atmosphere on the most famous yacht in the series.

6. Yakei (New)
Skyscraper rooftops in a neon-lit Japanese city. Ventilation system, industrial rooftops and high-risk vertical combat.

7. Meltdown (Remaster – Black Ops 2)
The return of the BO2 map in its first optimized version, a nuclear power plant with three paths and strategic gameplay.

8. Fringe (Reimaster/Reimagining)
The Fringe map from Black Ops 3 is back again, this time with a Black Ops 7 version with Wall Jump movement options and a complete remodeling of the area.
