More than 3 years after the announcement of Silent Hill Townfall at the Silent Hill Transmission 2022 show, it seems that we are finally in front of the first real hint of the launch date, the game that is a collaboration between Konami and Annapurna Interactive was mysterious for a long time and has not received any game offer so far, which led some to believe that it may have been canceled or entered a freeze, but a new leak brought the game back to the forefront.
The leak came from E-Shop Liverpool Mexico, which published a page for the game with a release date of March 26, 2026, and although the page was quickly deleted, the Polish website CD Action was able to document it through a screenshot, and the well-known Silent Hill character Rachel Ashmun confirmed the authenticity of the screenshot via X, which reinforces the possibility that the leak was not just a technical error.
At the time of writing, neither Konami nor Annapurna has issued any official statement about the date of Silent Hill Townfall, which means that the leak should be treated with caution, but its presence in a real retail store and then its immediate deletion makes it seem more than just a coincidence.
The timing is very remarkable as Xbox is preparing for the Partner Preview on November 20, in which the Silent Hill 2 remake is expected to appear, and there are leaks that it will arrive on the Xbox Series X|S on November 21, so we may be in front of a double presentation of the series and perhaps an official date for Townfall next to the Silent Hill 2 update.
This all comes after the great success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, the sudden success of Silent Hill f, and the growing interest in the series from old and new fans, making the timing of Townfall’s appearance perfect to ride the wave of Silent Hill’s renewed popularity.
