November is just around the corner and with it a new batch of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and it looks like this month will bring good news for indie game fans, as a new report from Dealabs has confirmed that Stray will be the main free game for the month of November.
According to the report, the game will be available for download starting November 4 across all Plus tiers for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Interestingly, Stray was previously available within the Plus Extra and Premium game catalog before it was temporarily removed with its release on Xbox to now return as part of the monthly free game bundle.
Developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive, Stray is a third-person adventure in which the player controls a lost cat trying to solve an ancient mystery and escape a forgotten cyberpunk town.
Featuring an immersive atmosphere and stunning art design that allows the player to interact with the environment in a playful way that combines stealth, intelligence, and feline curiosity, Stray was named Best Indie Game of 2022 at The Game Awards.
This addition comes after a strong month for Plus subscribers, as October’s games included titles such as Alan Wake 2, Silent Hill 2, and Until Dawn, and although Sony has yet to reveal the rest of November’s games, the selection of Stray is a welcome surprise, especially for fans of short storytelling experiences with a distinctive art style.
Do you think it’s a good choice for November, and if you’ve already played it, do you plan to try it again?
