The eSports World Cup Tour and the China-Saudi Arabia eSports Festival kicked off in Beijing, a joint initiative of the eSports World Cup Foundation and Tencent eSports, a strategic partner in China.
The event is part of the “Year of Sino-Saudi Culture” and celebrates the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Saudi Arabia. The ceremony was attended by government officials from the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Beijing Municipal Government, Saudi Tourism Authority, and representatives from the World Cup eSports Foundation, the Saudi eSports Federation, and the Chinese eSports ecosystem.
