Microsoft announced on the Xbox Wire blog that Xbox Cloud Gaming has been extended to Game Pass Core and Standard subscribers through the Xbox Insiders program.
Previously, only Game Pass Ultimate subscribers could use the cloud gaming feature. Now, through the Xbox Insider program, Core and Standard members can experience the service and play from anywhere without having to download games to their devices.
Advantages of the service:
– Stream games directly from the Game Pass library across devices
– Instant access to the game without having to download it.
– All you need to do is log in to the Xbox website or the Xbox Cloud Gaming app and start playing.
Along with the expansion of the service, it was announced that a selection of PC games will also be available to members of the Xbox Insider Program, regardless of their subscription level. To play them, you need to download the Xbox PC app and sign in.
These features are currently only available to Xbox Insiders and are not yet available to the general public. Those interested can join the program by downloading the Xbox Insider app on Xbox or PC to participate in tests and surveys and get early access to new features.
