Although Black Ops 7 Season 1 has not yet been released, leaks have begun to race to reveal what awaits players in Season 2, confirming that Treyarch is preparing consecutive seasons to revitalize the game in light of the decline in sales and poor player numbers since launch.
Popular leaker TheGhostOfHope revealed the first details of Season 2, confirming that the game will bring back 3 beloved maps from previous Black Ops installments, namely:
- Plaza
- Slums
- Yemen
These three maps will return with fully optimized versions and this is the first official remake in the history of the series, especially Yemen and Plaza, which have not previously received a redesign.
Recycling maps is nothing new for Call of Duty, but it has become an essential part of the seasonal strategy in order to keep the updates fresh and varied.
