In a surprising leak that precedes any announcement from Kojima Productions or Sony, a new ESRB rating has emerged that lists Death Stranding 2: On The Beach as a game coming to PC, the leak was released on the official website of the rating body, which gives it great credibility despite the absence of any official confirmation until now.
Death Stranding 2, which made a strong presence among the games of 2025 and won many nominations, including Game of the Year, was released exclusively on PlayStation 5, yet it seems that its expansion to the computer is coming faster than what happened with Part 1, which took 8 months before it arrived on the computer in 2020.
Adding to the credibility of the leak is the fact that the rating page has not yet been removed and clearly refers to the PC version with an M rating identical to the PS5 version and a description that includes subtle elements of the game such as the guitar weapon and robotic samurai.

The timing is questionable as we are one week away from The Game Awards 2025 where Death Stranding 2 is one of the leading nominees and Hideo Kojima is known to favor revealing his big projects at this particular event, so the leak may have preceded a planned announcement on stage.
Whether intentional or accidental, the game’s availability on PC will open the door for a wide range of gamers to experience the latest Strand adventure.
