Ubisoft has officially announced the release of Update 1.1.6 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which brings a massive and unexpected collaboration with Attack of the Titans as well as a new story mission and extensive system and mission improvements and fixes.
The collaboration is available from November 25 through December 22, 2025 only, making it a limited event that should be experienced before it ends. During the event period, players can take on a special time-limited mission that revolves around a mysterious power-seeking faction that has infiltrated feudal Japan and kidnapped a Titan Shifter and a single survivor with a dark secret who seeks the help of Yasuke and Naoe
To be able to enter the event, the player must acquire Yasuki’s character and head to the Yamashiro area north of Hanazo Tower, during the mission the player will receive new emblems, a statue of the Hideout Base and Naoe’s special katana upon completion of the mission
Also available is the Attack on Titan Dual Pack, which offers costumes inspired by the series’ characters, weapons, decorations, tools, a new horse, a Mikasa costume for Naoe, and Giant Armor for Yasuke in the trailer.
Along with the AOT collaboration, Update 1.1.6 introduces the game’s third story mission, A Puzzlement, a humorous and light mission that involves visiting South Wakasa, helping two old characters fighting over a mysterious door, and Yasuki and Naoe learning each other’s skills
Naoe learns a special version of Yasuke’s War Kick and Yasuke gains non-lethal stealth abilities, and the mission resolves the question everyone has been asking: Who would win in a straight fight between Yasuke and Naoe?
The update also comes with a lot of fixes to the game.
