After first announcing the collaboration in September 2025, Pocketpair has finally revealed the release date for the Palworld x Ultrakill update which will arrive for players on December 17, 2025, the new update called Home Sweet Home introduces a mix of fast and violent Ultrakill weapons with extensive improvements to base building and ends with an exciting hint about the full version of the game.
The trailer begins with the Ultrakill character showing off a range of new weapons coming to Palworld. These weapons feature bullets that change trajectory in flight to pursue targets, high explosive capabilities, and the ability to block attacks and return them to the Pals using coins – a direct reference to the original Ultrakill mechanics
This combination adds a fast-paced, action-packed twist to Palworld’s usual combat system.
In the Home Sweet Home update, players will get the ability to fully colorize bases, expanded design options and freer tools to personalize the base, these additions come in response to requests from the community who have been asking for expanded building and customization tools for some time.
In the final seconds of the demo, a dark scene appears with a sudden music change and then we see the shadow of a giant, eerie Pal before the text appears: Palworld 1.0 – 2026
This confirms that the game will leave Early Access next year, which Pocketpair has previously indicated but without clear details until now.
On the other hand, legal issues related to Palworld continue, including the USPTO re-examining Nintendo’s patent in the dispute, and a counter-patent against Palworld was recently rejected in Japan, although the studio continues to work on huge updates and expansion of the game.
